Who doesn't like a good puzzle?

Strategy...it is the basic business puzzle. What is the best strategy to use to obtain maximum results in your organization's goal.

All business people start out with a business plan, a strategy, a goal. The smart businessperson meets with outside sources (free is best!) like the MSBDC (Mass Small Business Development Center), SEED (South Eastern Economic Development), Mass Development, SCORE, and one new to our area is the Middleboro Business Resource Center...and there are many more! Business coaches are awesome, too! They will follow you through and help you establish (and will continue to work with you for as long as you need). These resources are key.

But what about you as an established business...you have a puzzle all put together, things are going great, but how can you step outside the box and expand your puzzle? Can you make it bigger, better, more inviting, easier to utilize, additional offerings? Or how can you make things streamlined for your staff?

Puzzles take time and concentration. Look outside your business and examine what you like about other businesses. Does not have to be companies in the same category as yours:

...is their website cleaner, easier to navigate?

...do they offer unique ways of paying?

...do they utilize social media (and keep it updated!!!!)?

A puzzle is a game. So have some fun with your strategy. Sometimes the best ideas come from throwing darts and seeing where they land.

Again...it takes time and maybe it's time to use outside resources...like a Chamber and its partners as mentioned above.
