Watching the latest Disney movie, LUCA, I saw there were so many wonderful messages for children and adults alike (just like a typical Disney movie). As a sea monster, Luca, stepped out his comfort zone in search of new adventures even as he entered a sea-monster-fearing little Italian village. Won't give away the ending, but needless to say, it's a Disney happy ending!
Are you nervous walking into a networking event looking for a familiar face? It can be intimidating to be sure! One way to help you cross that nerve wrecking bridge is to walk toward a few people who have a twist to their bodies as an opening. Maybe start with letting them know it is your first event...why not!? It's the truth! A great conversation starter and continuer is to ask them what brought them there to this particular event. This gets things rolling and you may find you can help each other!
